How It Works
Making your own beer or wine at Cask & Keg is easier than most people expect. We take care of the technical side so you can enjoy the fun part - bottling up your batch and enjoying it!
Here’s how the process works.
1. Visit the Shop and Start Your Batch
The first step is simple, come see us!
We’ll chat with you about what you like to drink, what styles you usually reach for, and what you’re hoping to get out of your batch. Whether you're looking for a crisp lager to enjoy on a hot day, a bold Cabernet Sauvignon to celebrate a big event or a quality IPA to end your evening, we have the right choice for you. If you know exactly what you like, great! If not, we'll help you navigate and make sure you're getting something you'll enjoy.
Once you’ve chosen your beer, wine, or cider, we'll prepare the ingredients and take care of some quick paperwork needed to start your personal batch.
From there, the brewing begins!

2. We Handle the Brewing
Once we have your order started, we take care of everything happening behind the scenes.
We monitor your batch through its lifecycle, adjusting airlocks, filtering, fining, carbonating when needed, and keep everything clean and fermenting properly. Brewing involves a lot of small steps and careful timing, and our team manages all of that for you.
Our goal is simple: take your ingredients and turn them into a finished product that’s ready to bottle.
3. Bottling Day
Once your batch is ready, we’ll let you know it’s time to come back in.
This is the fun part! Bottling takes about 30 minutes for wine or cider, and about an hour for beer (depending on your container choices). You will be able to sample your batch during bottling - if anything isn't right, we'll take care of it!
Our dedicated bottling stations make things easy. We stock an array of bottles for wine and beer, and we have cans available for your carbonated choices. You can bring in your own clean bottles, or buy them from us - all the bottles we sell are reusable so you can enjoy them through many batches. We'll show you the process and set you up for success.
You don’t need any experience. We provide the equipment and supplies needed to make bottling quick and easy.
4. Take It Home and Enjoy
When everything is bottled, you’ll take your batch home and start enjoying it.
Many customers make their beer or wine for everyday drinking, while others are preparing for weddings, parties, gifts, or special occasions.
However you choose to enjoy it, there’s something satisfying about opening a bottle that you filled yourself!
